To qualify with CommonWealth Carriers LLC, you must meet the following criteria: |
The driver must be at least 21 years of age. Drivers must have an acceptable work performance record (in the areas of on-time delivery, customer service, cargo claims, and equipment abuse). The Recruiters and the Safety Managers will review negative comments from previous employer inquiries and from HireRight reports, i.e., unsafe driving, unsatisfactory work record, etc. before the applicant is invited to Orientation. Recruiters and the safety director will review past employment over the last 3 years. Must pass the DOT NIDA Drug Screen. Must pass the division-specific Functional Agility Test.Must pass a DOT physical with a least a 3-month card. Must pass the CommonWealth Carriers LLC Road Test. Must possess a valid CDL Class A License No prior positive drug or alcohol tests in the past five (5) years or record of refusal to submit to a drug or alcohol test in the past five (5) years as required by an employer or by a law enforcement agency. Criminal background check: An individual on probation is not eligible for employment. Criminal convictions are assessed on a case by case basis. Must have reliable transportation to/from work |
